"Yeah, they're..." He'd never considered them his found family, not because he didn't care about them that much, but because he'd never been introduced to the vocabulary for it before. But now that he was thinking about it...they'd always been more of a family to him than the people he shared blood with. He was always there for his boys, and yet... did it make him awful that he didn't confide in them the way he probably could? They leaned on him and...he wasn't sure he'd ever quite known how to let himself be open and vulnerable with them. It wasn't even about how much he trusted them; he just didn't know how to not hide the ways he was broken. "I'm glad you've got people like that." And also, sorry that Ash was here without them.

He shrugged a shoulder, struggling between wanting to brush the whole thing off and the urge he always had to talk about Ronan. "Probably not, since he told me I wasn't enough." And Kavinsky was still trying to figure out how he could be enough, what Ronan needed or wanted that he didn't seem to think K had.

The next bit made him laugh though; he couldn't help it. "Yeah? I seem like someone who's good at interrogations?"
